John & Bindi are fabulous to work with! We’ve just completed plans on our second home with High House Design and we’re extremely happy with the results. Their professional, collaborative approach enabled us to achieve our vision - merging our existing ideas with John’s design expertise. They showed a high level of flexibility with many design amendments due to our change in vision, as well as adhering to the CDC requirements. High House – High Recommendation.

We have worked with John a number of times and it is a pleasure to be working with him again on a new project.

John has always listened to what we need and want from a project and involved us in the design process.  He makes the process feel comfortable and collaborative and has helped us create beautiful yet practical spaces.   As time passes, we have appreciated how John's design anticipated the needs of our growing family and changes in the use and focus of our home.

John's assistance is also invaluable in dealing with the approval and construction process and cost management.  He is an excellent communicator and intermediary between clients and builders, Council, certifiers and contractors.  These are stressful aspects of a project but John makes them as efficient and low-fuss as possible.

We are often asked by visitors and passers by who designed our home and almost everyone comments on how good it "feels" to be in and around.  We agree! John has helped us create spaces we love to be in and use.

Bindi from High House Architects was tasked with transforming an extremely ordinary and rundown, one storey, probably Federation era house, into a two storey house. We wanted the exterior to remain in keeping with the existing house style, with the interiors reflecting the needs of today’s families. Bindi managed all this, producing interesting ceiling lines and floor layouts, especially upstairs. She was (very politely!) responsive to any changes we asked for.
She was prompt not only in producing the plans, but also in dealing with the local council requests and related documentation, working with the builder and dealing with any changes needed.

We are extremely pleased with the result!
